Journalling from Life

At first sight journalling from life might seem the same as keeping a diary. You are writing about things that have happened to you but unlike a diary your journal seeks to record your questions and feelings about what is happening and to discern the direction in which God is leading you.

Sometimes when you sit down with your journal and begin to write about something that has just happened or about a change that you are facing you may be writing down more questions than answers.

It can be difficult when you are in the middle of a situation to discern God at work within it. However, with the passage of time an answer may become apparent and you can record it in your journal.

The fascinating thing about journalling from life is that it helps you to look back over your life and see patterns emerging. God is at work in your life.
